October Recap

Good evening Owl Families! Just wanted to give a recap on the month of October to let you know what your PTO has been up to.

As most of you know, on the fundraising side we had Fall Family Night and Boosterthon. Both were a lot of fun for the students and their families and both helped raise some much needed money for the PTO.

Some of the funds we raised will go toward new playground equipment, as previously mentioned in the Boosterthon campaign. Other expenses incurred in October included a new refrigerator for the Teacher’s Lounge (see photo below) and Field Trips for Life Skills, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade, which included each student’s admission to their grade-level field trip and transportation (buses) to get them back and forth. If any of our Owl parents attended any of these field trips and took any photos, please share them in the comments below. We’d love to see them!
